Most bags in the market make you choose between two disappointments. The cheap ones fall apart in a season. The expensive ones charge for the logo, not the craft. For years, nobody built anything honest in between.
YACHT is that honest middle.
Where we come from
We started as manufacturers. Before YACHT existed as a brand, we were making bags professionally – building to specification, holding to standards, learning what it means to make something that holds up under real use in the real world.
That experience lives in every bag we make today. In the weight of the canvas. In the evenness of the stitch. In the zipper that runs smooth on the hundredth open as it did on the first.
What we make – and what we make it from
YACHT bags are made from four materials, chosen for what they are and where they come from:
- Canvas – natural cotton fibres, tightly woven. Biodegradable, breathable, and better with age. The most honest bag material there is.
- Duck Cotton – heavier natural cotton, structured and durable. Holds its shape under load and improves in character over time.
- Corduroy – natural cotton with a ribbed pile. Structured without stiffness. A material with warmth and quiet character.
- Recycled Polyester Felt – made from recycled PET bottles, polyester fibres, and post-consumer plastic waste. Soft, structured, and eco-friendly by origin. Every felt bag gives existing materials a longer, more useful life.
Across all four materials, the same standard applies – made in our own facility, finished inside and out, constructed to last.
Eco-friendly by design
Canvas, duck cotton, and corduroy are natural fibres – biodegradable and better with age. Our felt range is made entirely from recycled materials. Eco-friendly is not a category at YACHT. It is how we choose every material we work with.
