YACHT® is a brand owned and operated by Veol E Retail Pvt Ltd, a company incorporated in India. We manufacture and sell bags and accessories directly to customers in India and worldwide.

- Payment information — we do not store your card details. Payments are processed securely by our payment gateway partners, each of which maintains their own privacy and security standards.
When you create an account
- Email address and password (stored encrypted)
- Your saved addresses and order history
When you browse our website
- IP address and browser type
- Pages visited, time spent, and how you found us
- Device type (mobile, desktop, tablet)
- This data is collected via Google Analytics 4 and Meta Pixel — both in anonymised, aggregated form
When you contact us
- Your name, email, and the content of your message
- WhatsApp conversations if you reach us via our support number

- Your email address and any preferences you share with us

4. Who we share your data with
We only share your data with the services we need to run our business:
- Payment gateway partners — payment processing. Your payment is handled entirely by our certified payment gateway partners. We never store your card or banking details on our servers.
- Shiprocket — order fulfilment and shipping. Your name, address, and phone number are shared with Shiprocket and their courier partners to deliver your order.
- MailerLite — email marketing. Only if you have opted in to receive communications from us.
- Google Analytics — website analytics. Anonymised and aggregated data only.
- Meta (Facebook/Instagram) — advertising. Via Pixel tracking on our website.
All third-party services we use are contractually required to protect your data and may only use it for the specific purpose we share it for.
5. Cookies
Our website uses cookies — small text files stored on your device — to make the site work and to understand how it is used.
- Essential cookies — required for the website, cart, and checkout to function. Cannot be disabled.
- Analytics cookies — Google Analytics. Help us understand site usage. You can opt out via your browser settings.

- Order data — retained for 7 years as required by Indian tax and accounting law (GST compliance)
- Account data — retained as long as your account is active. You can request deletion at any time.
- Email marketing data — retained until you unsubscribe. Every email we send has a one-click unsubscribe link.
- Analytics data — anonymised and aggregated. Retained per Google’s standard retention settings.
7. Your rights
You have the right to:
- Access — request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
- Correct — ask us to update or correct inaccurate information
- Delete — ask us to delete your personal data (subject to legal retention requirements)
- Opt out — unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time, at no consequence to your ability to shop with us

8. Data security
We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data against unauthorised access, loss, or misuse. Our website runs on HTTPS (SSL encrypted). Payments are processed by PCI-DSS compliant payment gateway partners and we never store card details on our servers.
No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure. While we do everything we can to protect your data, we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. Children’s privacy
Our website is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.
10. International customers
If you are ordering from outside India, your personal data will be transferred to and processed in India, where our operations are based. By placing an order, you consent to this transfer. We ensure that all data handling meets the standards described in this policy regardless of where you are located.
